Best of – fatfree vegan yummies

6 Jan

SusanV from FatFree Vegan Kitchen has compiled a list of her favourite recipes from 2010, here.

Having only recently stumbled upon this awesome blog, the round up is priceless to me because i missed them all the first time around! I’m not vegan or even vegetarian, but slowly changing my eating habits to align with these beliefs.

I’m totally going to make these…

Banana-Maple Oatmeal Cookies

…And these….

Ridiculously Easy Curried Chickpeas and Quinoa

And definitely this…

Chocolate-Blueberry Cake

Yum! ♦

i am a vegetarian myself and absolutely love vegan options as well…these look so amazing. there is a big misconception that vegetarians and or vegans must not have many options when it comes to food.

this post sheds some light on that and shows that truly there are so many options out there. and they are tasty and healthy!

When i first actively went looking for vegetarian/vegan options, i was AMAZED at how much is out there.

The recipes look so good that i want to make them – purely because they sound amazing, rather than the nutritional value (which is obviously a bonus!)

I was wasting away on twitter trying to find something to cure my boredom – and POW – somebody I follow tweeted this post. Now, I am not quite as bored. Thanks for posting awesome material. – Frisbee
